During film breaks, Samuel Costa, Bernardo Cunha and the actors playing the twins accidentally burned João Romeu Filho in his neck, after they ignited a firecracker in his shirt. The four actors were grounded by Helvecio Ratton.

Samuel Costa (Maluquinho) and Jair Estevão (Branca) actually argued and physically fought, similar to what is depicted in the film.
