Not Luck

A whiny-voiced, unseen youngster complains about a boy who's good looking and popular. A smooth-voiced, unseen older man explains it's because the boy washes himself daily, wears clean clothes and eats a healthy breakfast. This comes as a surprise to the unseen youngster.

It's one of the seemingly innumerable Coronet films which appeared in class rooms after final examinations, and on television right after the farm report but before Sunrise Semester -- yes, I am that old. They covered obvious subjects about how people should behave, which made them even duller, but clearly the tv programmers and teachers thought they were dealing with young savages.
