The film was delayed for 3 years.
Kirti Kumar removed Rupali in the film and then searched for a replacement. Then fearing that the Radha Ka Sangam curse would return ( When he threw Divya Bharti out of the film) he brought Rupali back into the film.
Govinda's home production.
The trumpet tune used at 1:00 of "Pagh Ghungroo Bandh" from Namak Halaal was later the source of inspiration from the tune of the song "Mera Dil Kho Gaya" from Aazmayish. What is confusing is that a similar tune was used by Michael Jackson for his song "Bad", 5 years after Namak Halaal. The song "Boogie Boogie" from Kismetwala (1986) also had the same tune. Himesh Reshamiya also used this same tune at 0:27 for the song "Ice Cream" from the film The Xpose. Another version was in the song "Dokha Dokha" from the movie Dana Pani. The song "Tere Baap Ko" from Do Aankhen Barah Haath, also sampled Michael Jackson's song BAD. The song was added much later to make the film fresh. The first audio cassettes released in 1994 did not have this song. Govinda had danced to Michael Jackson's Bad in the movie Kaun Kare Kurbanie. "Hirni Jaise Aankhon Wali: from Laat Saab also sampled "Bad".
