Max Lindner and his even hunkier best mate Fibbes Breuer, the carefree prankster type that doesn't mind girls getting a good view of their burly bared butts while urinating in the snow, look forward to leaving Hochtal, in the Bavarian Alps, for a six month snowboarding camp in Colorado after their study in Munich, and celebrate with a wild nightly party. Alas, dad Luwdig Lindner is awaken by the burning of the family's ski lodge, runs in and damages his spine; yet, he lies about his hospital diagnosis to convince beloved son Max to go ahead with his Rocky dream, but when the good boy hears flippant Fibbes may have caused the fire while having intimate fun there with his girlfriend Jeanette, he breaks up and decides to stay home, until he discovers in the ruins a car alarm, which fits the wife of the evil mayor, who always wanted to buy the lodge. Max is just in time to join his mate on the flight to America, but also aboard is dad's doctor, who tells them the grim truth. They both decide to stay, but come up with an attractive alternative...

The boys work their tails off to build the snowboarder paradise 'Powder Park' from scratch as alternative earning for Max's family, but eternal optimist Fibbes decides they must advertise with a big launch in grand style, ready or not, enlisting their female admirers' help to build a website and do the paperwork. Fibbes believes his hunky teddy-bear- routine convinced Emma Karvangs, Munich's hottest DJ, to do the opening party for 5% of the earnings, but she really stays -and brings in popular band Glow- for cute, quiet Max, who alas feels he must reject her out of loyalty to his mate- till she assures Max never to have been fibber Fibbes's fun-girl, yet the reputedly lazy lout is jealous enough to declare he no longer wants anything to do with the project, however after doing a surprisingly good job manning the snow machines all night. Mayor Sailer pulls dirty tricks to sabotage them, convincing the banker to withdraw the credit line 'based on Max's hospitalized dad Ludwig's reputation' and the beverages supplier to demand payment in advance, but mother Lindner uses dad's nest-egg to advance just enough. When finally the well-tried old ski-lift gets an endless 'routine' technical inspection, the guests are brought up surprisingly in more then one way...

The boys cheerfully bring up by ski-lift a fridge Fibbes got for only 100 Euro from a salesgirl he promised snowboarding lessons and private 'après ski'. Max is at least as delighted as mayor Sailer with the return of his village youth mate, Georg 'Schorschi' alias Sailer Junior, but Fibbes's initial reluctance turns into open hostility when he learns the boy has a past as a junkie, not unlike Fibbes's alcoholic father and brother. When Fibbes lets off steam snowboarding after loosing the fridge and the girl accidentally by Schorschi's fault, he hurts his knee seriously in a fall on a lonely slope. The only one who finds and helps him is the same Georg, who even has to carry him on his back as it takes a while till Max is worried enough to go look by snowmobile...

This time a schoolmate of Fibbes, Stephan Vens, turns up with a bunch of friends, but the reservation for Robo 2001, his rock-board club's annual party, got lost. Max's ma worries when a tourist group from Mainz (Mayence) cancels, fearing the young snowboard crowd isn't to their traditional clientèle's conservative taste so they prefer Sailer's hostel, but Stephan's bunch didn't have a place to stay, even lodged cheap they're better then nothing. Max is ecstatic to find Fibbes has arranged for his flame Emma to visit again and DJ the party, but after stripping for a passionate night in bed she makes brutally clear she'll never be exclusively anyone's, she even dragged along a mangy Prague lover. Mayor Sailer refuses to sign a municipal permit, but his own son Georg convinces his secretary Vroni -who has a huge crush on Max, who alas can't reciprocate when she finally gathers the courage to come clean- to trick Sir into signing one- only once... After the party, Fibbes learns his mate Stephan has a potentially terminal tumor and intends after his 'goodbye party' to leave life with a rock-boarding bang...

Some study friends visit the mates in Hochtal, but the now spoiled business brats scorn the Lindner mountain inn, preferring the mayor's luxury hotel. Among them are Fibbes's ex Sharon and her jealous present mate, stock millionaire Sven. Schorschi got stuck cleaning everything while the lordly founders enjoyed test-riding the snow, but when a brat offers good money for his personally designed decorated snowboard, Vroni makes him realize this can become a lucrative business; alas her ma decides spraying paint in her inn is punishable by eviction... Max correctly calls the snow too weak for the deep snow track, but Sven and his cocky mate insist to impress Sharon by choosing the now forbidden slope, and cause an avalanche. Luckily Max gave everybody tracking devices, but calling in the rescue team alerts mayor Seiler, who smells another chance to have the municipality close the Powder Park...

Powder park is doing good business, but one of the new guests, who is an instant romantic hit -despite the literal versions- with Max's sister who believes herself an excellent judge of characters, and turns out to be- Fibbes' equally studly elder brother Axel, whose teenage drug dealing cost him five years in jail after Fibbes's 17 year-old friend Bianca died from OD. Schorschi's arrogant 500 Euro 'designer board' sales technique irritates level-headed guests, but his admirer Vroni drags him along to spend nights in sleeping bags after she spots something that could be an UFO. As Fibbes refuses to exchange a single word with Axel, rather ready to beat big brother up, anything to get rid of the ex-con, Max and Schorschi decide to keep silent to him after finding a 'fun pill', but an accident brings the village police bursting in on the mayor's personal orders. However, the UFO spotting turns out surprisingly informative...

When gullible Georg sees an ad for a 1955 Ford pick-up, no objection about fuel consumption is heard, he even pays a third in advance without seeing it, then takes Vroni along to pick the wreck up in Munich after a movie, another somewhat dated classic, '2001: A Space Odyssea'. Max goes along to surprise his D.J. girlfriend Emma, who is stuck in the studio there for another dozen days, but she has the real surprise: on tour in London she saw her boyfriend from a year earlier, who has AIDS; Max goes trough hell waiting for the lab test-result... Meanwhile Max's sister Lissi's fatherless young son Florian 'Flo' is bullied into buying his own snowboard back, but when huge Fibbes puts the fear of God in the rascals if they ever fail to cross the strait when they see Florian, and disinfects the kid's hand wound with perfume, the gratefully admiring boy adopts the friendly lout as substitute father, volunteering 'my dad' as chaperon for a class trip, which now goes to Powder Park and proves great fun for everyone. This also allows love-sick Fibbes and Max's lonely sister Lissy to grow closer, but when she sees him sucking wasp venom from the allergic teacher's neck she thinks the reputed skunk is already two-timing her as usual. Meanwhile ma Anke Lindner's disappointment with recovering husband Ludwig opposing every single modernization makes her seek the company of fellow northerner Erik Maarsen, the new shop owner...

Vroni finally gets rid of her virginity, with Schorschi, who finds her sexual stamina literally exhausting. Max's dad Ludwig is home for a surprise one day visit allowed by the hospital if he keeps quiet, but despite elaborate efforts by family and friends he nearly finds out about his wife and just when he was retuning sees a Powder Park poster; the old-fashioned fool refuses to see the business sense, and after a sneer from the mayor that he can't control his family after all ends up driving a snow plow at night in his condition: scorned Max has to brave a snow storm to find his stubborn old man- in mortal danger...

Now the snow season ends, Fibbes thinks up to continue Powder Park by trips on the glacier, but first there is a last group from Hamburg, green girls. Schorschi complains he can't cope with Vroni's sexual appetite on the bumpy old mattress which pains every bone in his bumping body, so she gets a water-bed on trial free for a week, but her bones... Lissy painfully bumps into a fellow carpentry-expert, studly Gero, who admires Georg's snowboard designs; as his boarding-class watches Gero more then the hunky mates, jealous Fibbes dares him to a snowboarding duel, ignorant unlike Schorschi it's the 'Schneewolf (snow wolf)' Steiger, a multiple world champion. Gero is impressed by Fibbes's desperate death-jump onto his bus, and...

Vroni has send some of Schorschi's designs to manufacturer's but the broke boy resists 'selling out'... Now he's a successful ICT entrepreneur and wants them to come live in his Hamburg mansion. Lissy doesn't want anything to do with Boris, but he manages to see Florian, who ends up accepting to go together to Powder park, provided trusted hero Fibbes comes too, who however must carry Lissy down after a guest ran her over; Flo convinces dad to take the red track he was wisely never allowed on- when mediocre skier Boris realizes it's too hard, he tries a short-cut to the safe blue one, but falls into a perilous position a a glacier crack and sends Florian back for help, which is too dangerous as the weather is changing. When their absence is noticed, Max and Fibbes snowboard like lightning, braving danger till they find father and son just in time to perform dangerous rescues and bring them down, where ultimately Flo's choice decides their futures...

Max's last day frolicking in the mountains with Emma ends when a cow eats his favorite jeans and he steps in her droppings, so the poor boy must sneak back home in his boxers, to be told Fibbes, who held the fort, now leaves him in charge all alone, so Max dozes off in bed even before making love, while Emma is left baby-sitting cute but exhausting Florian. Cop Ilja Deininger warns Max his guest Ben Keller is such a kicks junkie he probably already caused a fatal climbing accident last year. Fibbes is uneasy when the acrobatic strippers group German Dream Boys arrives in Hochtal, for he once earned a quick buck as their guest performer. When Lissy finds out, she forgives him on one condition: do it again at Uschi's birthday, yet it's Andreas 'Randy Andy' who pays Uschi unpaid attention afterward, all night. Emma misses city life, so she asks Max to move with her to London, where she has accepted a DJ job... Ludwig ignores his wife, thus driving her in Maasen's arms; when he finds his rival stuck and hurt in a tree as para-glider, he makes sure help arrives only hours later. Florian is furious when ma Lissy automatically assumes he lies to her denying he cheated in class, which teacher Zenker failed him for; only 'unfit male role model' Fibbes believes Zenker has it in for the boy, and learns in confidence Flo covers for his classmate Melissa, who copied his test-paper. After Fibbes tells the kid he hit back once when a teacher boxed his ear, Zenker's car is stuffed with sugar... Veronica 'Vroni' believes her horoscope is ideal to wed Schorschi, but takes his precious vintage pickup without permission and dents it badly, while 'Dr. Death' feels his image is incompatible with a marriage. Max has had it with mate Fibbes's laziness, whose spending their last dime and credit line on a video camera is just too much. Still it gets worse: Scotsman Graeme bumps into Fibbes and wins a snowboarding duel, then turns out to be hired by their nemesis, mayor Sailer, as celebrity for his own, brand new park project, White Peaks, financed by a wealthy industrial group, so Fibbes challenges equally cocky Gordon to a real race, high stakes: the looser leaves Hochtal, which would mean the end for Max too, yet his irate objections are simply waved... Meanwhile Vroni gets it bad: first she accidentally tells Georg she expects to be expecting, unexpectedly, and yet he's scolded as the bad gay for regretting she didn't even talk to him while he still is willing to do his paternal part. Next she forgets her dog Bootsmann, who trots home but gets run-over by a truck...
