Jay shri krishna om namo bhagavate vasudevay . According to my opinion sarvadaman d banerjee as shri krishna amazing I like. No one can play the role of Lord shri krishna as sarvadaman d banerjee look like God. Jay shri krishna
I love baal Leela of this. Everything was done perfectly. Every actor did great job. But not a big fan of Mahabharat part. It's full of bad casting. They casted weak actors for strong roles like Bhishma, Shakuni & Karna. They used same actors for several important roles. The guy who played Ashwathma also played Sudama. Using same actor for multiple times for small roles make sense. These two are important characters so should have played by two different actors. It's really irritating.
Overall the best part of the show is from Shri Krishna's birth till Kans badh.

Ramanand Sagar's SHRI KRISHNA is the best show on earth. All the chapters of Krishna has been 85% covered starting from his birth till the Mahabharat war. The casting, sets has been researched thoroughly. I would like to mention the pros and cons very carefully below:
The Pros:
* The introduction by Ramanand Sagar has been awesome. His description about the essence of Lord Krishna which started from India and spread to the West has been brilliantly touched upon. The way he appears and explains the chapters in every stage of Lord Krishna's life is mesmerizing. His humility, way of explaining, appearance gives an indication of a saint of this modern era.
* The casting has done a fantastic job. Sarvadaman Bannerjee who played the title role of Lord Krishna was just simply divine. His mannerisms, body language, emotions etc match the Lord 100%. The other actors who played various roles in different stages of Krishna's life also did a great job.
* The music by Ravindra Jain was melodious. The title song "Shree Krishna Govind Hare Murare" created a special place in my heart. All the other songs were also great to listen to.
The Cons:
* The voices for other actors sounded quite similar like a single voice artist dubbing for everyone which is sometimes irritating.
* Some of the actors went a bit overboard in their acting especially in emotional scenes.
* In the Mahabharat, Sahadev had killed Shakuni but here Nakul killed Shakuni which is not true.
* After Gandhari cursing Krishna for 36 years; the death of Lord Krishna, the Yadav clan destruction, Dwarka submersion, the pandavas dying one by one with Yudhishtra answering the reason of their deaths etc were not shown.
Despite of the cons, I give 9/10 because of the hardwork done by Ramanand Sagar and team for making the serial a grand success from 1993-2001.

Sagar's Shri Krishna had great concept, great direction but it had bad casting especially in later parts. Choice of Krishna's characters are good, also characters like Nand, Yashoda, Vasudev, Balram, Rukmini, Arjun etc did great job but others were really disappointing. Kans acting like he is acting in a play on stage not on a TV show. This show did not have ensemble cast like Sagar's Ramayan or BRC Mahabharat.

The show have so many over actors who did overacting instead acting. Best performer of the show was Swapnil Joshi who played teenage Krishna. Same voice artist dubbed so many voices which is really irritating. Sarvadaman who played Adult Lord Krishna's role was really average. His facial expressions are really bad. He add so many unnecessary style in his acting. And then Mahabharat part they choose horrible cast. The woman who played Draupadi looked older than Kunti.

Shri Krishna is the sort of motivational lesson for young generation.
It teaches us about the strategy of which in unlimited.
We shouldn't compare the acceptors of love from our side while donating love because all human beings are made by Lord and Goddess. Even we should also respect nonliving things it is also a creative collection by Lord and Goddess.
Ramanad Sagar presented Ramayan in form form of real visuals which is very amazing to watch and later presented Shri Krishna also amazing TV serial motivating youths and all the human beings which helps in understanding the real world.
Thank You! for choosing the platform of entertainment for motivating us about "Dharma" (Respect, Love and Peace).

Shree Krishna siriol is my one of the most favorite siriol. I all time enjoy this siriol and yes the great director Dr. Ramanand Sagar has created greatly. This siriol helps a man who wants to enjoy her or his life. after watching this siriol I have feel very happy. I have greatly wants thanks all of star and cast to contribute hard work for this siriol. The life of Shri Krishna is not a simple subject since his life-span is spread across the endless ocean of immortality and eternity.
Every time the earth is burdened by evil forces, Lord Vishnu
descends onto it in a divine incarnation to save the earth and its residents from these very forces. Thus the main objective of Lord Krishna's birth was to free Mother Earth from this wickedness of the demons. These are demons that we find in our everyday life as well and not some mythical creatures. These are the demons of the vices of greed and of selfishness.
Shri Krishna Bhakti (worship) is embedded in the soul of India since millions of years and HIS image has been nourished by
innumerable generations of the common man since immemorial. Music of ravindra jain was very meladious and the title song in this siriol "Shree Krishna govind hare murari" is My one of the favorite song. This siriol is very useful and very knowledgeful in our daily life.

Ramanand Sagar's Shri Krishna follows complete tradition for Bhagwat culture to describe all the Avtar before Shri Krishna & also the reason described that How Bhaagwat Mahapuran come into the existence, All Avtars are mentioned & also the Unconditional love theory is perfectly described, Bhagwaan Vishnu & Bhagwaan Shiva are the devotee of each other is well & lovable bond between them is amazingly defined, A lifetime watch series that would never get old. Bhaagwat Geeta episodes are must to watch that would take one person's imagination close to the Krishna. Love for god (Unconditional love) is the most precious, Divine & the ecstasy for everyone! Jai Shri Krishna om namho bhagwatey Vasudevaye Namha !!

Srila Veda Vyas compiled the Vedant Sutras, and in order to explain their actual purport compiled the Srimad Bhagavatam which was a natural commentation of the Sutras. Sadly, however, the Mayavada Bhashya of Adi Shankaracharya is today read as the most prominent understanding of the Sutras. There is not much point in getting into the specifics of how the subsequent Acharyas defeated Shankaracharya ji's Mayavada. However, it becomes important to understand an adaptation of the Srimad Bhagavatam, more specifically the pastimes of Lord Shri Krishna.
Sagar's Ramayan is better made in this sense, as it adheres to the original epic of Valmiki and the later work of Tulsidas ji. However, this adaptation takes too many liberties in order to introduce drama. The worse part however is trying to introduce "advaita vada" in a significant work which discards the philosophy. Sagar makes Mata Yashoda say dialogues explaining Advaita Vada and even allows Krishna to sermon Radha Mata on the glories of the deviant philosophy. If this was less, Sagar, in his commentaries tries to lecture on Advaita Philosophy.
It is sad for an adaptation which extends gratitude to HDG Srila Prabhupada in the title card of every episode to interpret the pastimes of Lord Krishna in the light of Mayavada philosophy. It would have been better if Ramanand Sagar for once would have read through Prabhupada's own elaborate summary on the tenth canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam called "Krsna The Supremw Personality of Godhead" (a copy of which he carries in the introduction episode). In the book, Prabhupada has sincerely snubbed the mayavadis and established the principles of Sanatana dharma without the tinge of mental speculation that advaitavada propounds.
Apart from the inaccurate philosophy that Sagar pushes down the throat of the viewers (of complete oneness and non-duality between jivatma and paramatma) the series in itself, in order to add masala, introduces events that are not even mentioned in bonafide scriptures. It is sad to find Sagar depict Radha Mata affected by material affliction (even though She is Herself the Para-Prakriti Yogamaya). I can go on and on about this, but there's not much point. Even the Bhagavad Gita episodes have been spoilt by detailing how the soul merges into the complete whole and loses its sense of pure I-ness.
