I've wanted to see "Close Enough To Touch" for a long time now, and it more than lived up to my expectations. It was a treat to guess who was sleeping with who, who didn't get along very well, and who was just dying to get away from it all.
In the opening scene, we see Brad, a decent guy looking to make some money over the summer by working at the Hendersons' house. Brad makes nice with the girl next door, Ashley, and then turns around...and what did he see?
A woman, wearing a pair of high heels that scream "have sex with me right now!" Ah yes, it's Amanda Henderson, the charming, extra-horny mom, played by my favorite B-movie babe Monique Parent, using the extraordinary alias Scarlet Johansing, and this time she has black hair. Yes, Brad and Amanda do have sex, and it must have been great because Amanda forgot the poor guy's name when they finished.
As the film goes on, we learn that Amanda and her husband, Jason the powerful attorney, don't get along very well. They trade shots at each other every chance they get. Amanda's angry at Jason for sleeping around on her; Jason's angry at Amanda for sleeping around on him. It's a neverending cycle. They have two children; Neal, who is in law school but really wants to be an artist, and Suzanne, a slutty type who wants to be a model more than anything. Neal is sleeping with the girl next door, Ashley, who seems to be more interested in Neal's future profession than Neal himself. Suzanne does nude modeling, but doesn't want her parents to find out.
About a half-hour in, Jason hires Elaine--a very sexy lawyer--to work "closely" on a case with him, if you know what I mean. From the sex scene that ensues shortly afterward, I assume they had something going long before she got hired. Jason hires his son to be her paralegal. It doesn't take long for Neal to become drawn toward Elaine, as they see very similar traits in each other.
Meanwhile, Amanda tries to re-acquaint herself with Brad, who now realizes who Amanda is and resists. Amanda shamelessly throws herself at the guy, but the girl he really wants is Suzanne. It seems that Suzanne's outward appearance and bad attitude are a front...she's really soft and helpful on the inside.....aww! Let's not forget Jason, shall we? Jason gets it on with Ashley's now-single mom, Charlotte, but they both realize it's a one-time thing. The ending wraps everything up in one nice little package at a dinner party, now that's a sight to see.
There was so much going on in this movie, it was hard for me to keep up with it all. The sex scenes were good, the dialogue was hilarious at times, and the audience got to know about the characters and where they ultimately wanted to go in their lives. This was 87 minutes well spent. Definitely tapeworthy. See the unrated version, however, for the longer sex scenes; it's worth it.
Women: A- (Monique was awesome. She seemed much more energetic in this film...it sure shows. The female lawyer was hot, Suzanne was smokin', and the mother and daughter next door were nothing to sneeze at either.)
Sex: A (The usual amount of sex scenes, and they were pretty good. Lots of moaning, plenty of bump-and-grind stuff.)
Story: A- (The dialogue between Jason and Amanda was great. The storylines actually went somewhere and all of the characters were moderately developed. Better than the usual drivel these scripts can become after a while.)
Overall: A (Monique Parent had one of her better roles here. She's not taking it off as much as in her past films, but her acting is much, much better. The cast was great as a whole, too, and I don't say that very often in movies like this. Overall, an awesome flick.)

If you like soft core porn with lots of beautiful bodies, this movie is for you. Basically, a lot of guys and hot chicks that like to sleep with each other. Plenty of sex, sex, and more sex

You can't get any better than this.
Hot, spectacular women, tons of wild sex, and a not so bad plot. Tracy Ryan at her best. That's all I need to add.
Seriously, this is Mrs. Ryan's best performance to date in my opinion; she's beautiful, sexy, and her scenes are very hot.
Monique Parent also is great on her role but can't match Tracy.
This is pure quality in the soft core porn genre. This is probably among the best flicks from the past 15 years. Seriously. Also, Sebastian Guy delivers a fine performance. He's the man.
Oh give this movie a try if it airs (as it will probably be) on Skinemax. If not, it worths your money.
