Digital video and shoulder camera in an ambiguous short movie about the cynism of the middle-class always ready to help other people when they are "good people". The plot is about an ex-convict who left jail in the morning and having a beer in a bar asks to have a shower and a shave.A client offers him his home and behaves very nice with him until he discovers the man is recently out of jail.Then, the client begins to avoid his company and even call him names and insult him.The ex -convict follows the client to his home in the night and finally they both go upstairs.The next morning the ex-convict leave the house while the client is sleeping. What happened during the night? Did they have sexual relations? We don't know. We only know that the ex-convict, despite of being out of jail, is a honest man. Les chaussettes sales (Dirty socks) had being awarded as the best short movie in the Gijón International Film Festival in 2001. And I must say that it was deserved.
