Dev Anand was so happy with the costars of the film he told them all he would love to cast them all in a home production. He would go to the Himalays and shoot the film in 30 days straight.
Taylor Dayne's song "Prove your love" is played during the "disco theque dance sequence" of Javed Jaffery and Neeta Puri.
Actress Saaniya signed the film and went around saying she was a Dev Anand discovery. This bothered Dev and he clearly told the media this was untrue.
Music Composers Nadeem-Shravan their earlier film, that's before Aashique. Actually Nadeem-Shravan were introduced by Bhisgan Kohli in year 1978/79 in Jeena Seekh Liya. They are working in films about 10 years before Lashkar, but the were getting small unknown films. Then until in year 1986/87, Mithun Chakravorty who was their friends had recorded them to producers, then they to start to get big films like Lashkar, Ilaaka & Hisaab Khoon Ka.
The first film of Jagdish Kumar and Kader Kashmiri as directors and this is the only film they made together.They also write the story and screenplay of Lashkar.
