Featured review
This movie has two story lines: it tells about a romance between the student Marc and the young girl Nathalie, who meet each other while on vacation at the Belgian coast. Marc has to take his exams in sociological studies again, and learns about the hard struggle that unions had to deliver to gain some equal rights; although he doesn't work yet, he realizes that unions are very important. This whole thing of social consciousness forms kind of the second story line, since Marc tries to convince Nathalie (who works as a computer programmer and complains a lot about her work) of the fact that unions are useful and that not all laws and regulations are wrong. Marc's efforts are in vain, since even at the end, Nathalie doesn't seem to be completely convinced of the use of the unions's existence. Although the movie was made for the christian union ACV, it promotes unions in general (although there's one reference to christian lifestyle and values). 'Propaganda' might be an exaggeration; in any way, the whole social thing spoils the love story a bit i.m.h.o..
