Featured review
Dr. Leonard Kleindienst (pronounced "lee-oh-nard") hosts this boring white-coater, although he snazzily is dressed in a sweater, more Newhart than Mr. Rogers, in narrating this softcore junk. This one's so cheap he reads the entire spiel, eyes downcast, from his notes, rather than memorizing or using cue cards.
Like dozens of its brethren at the beginning of the '70s, this film is merely a series of aloof-camera silent scenes of a couple making love in various positions; for tokenism, one of the couples (seen doing an advanced doggy-style position) is black. There are some attractive women but all the sex is simulated. For fellatio, the now extremely quaint practice (I wonder if there were porn-star training sessions for this) of the girl holding her hand carefully to hide any penetration from the camera's gaze is utilized. Similarly, the fully nude guys show off their testicles, but any cocks (and penetration) are completely hidden from view here. I'm sure the circa 1970 fans expected more, given the presence of hardcore sex imports at the time, but this one's extremely tame.
A lesbian scene and extramarital sex are also presented, besides the de rigeur "married couple" format. One of the guys with a "pudding bowl" haircut looks like Ric Lutze but I cannot verify his participation. The educational value of the narration is zip -just nonsensical drivel about the importance of foreplay and the need to vary positions.
