Just sorry so few seem to ever have seen it.
Both good guys. Lippy was the optimist always coming up with a solution that was bound to go awry. While Hardy-Har-har was the realist (some would say pessimist) that was obliged to go along.
Kind of in the same vein as "I love Lucy" (Lucy and Ethel) or the Honeymooners (Ralph and Norton).
Mel did a great job as Hardy but Lippy was my favorite and always so upbeat. (maybe, because I myself am more of a Hardy). Hardy was always right of course.
I loved the cartoon (loved Wally Gator too) and only wish I could find others that had even seen it.
