'California Girls' is Playboy's continuing trend of reusing footage to slap together a video consisting of old scenes. A real disservice to fans and paying customers, but they obviously didn't care too much being this is the third or fourth time I've seen them blatantly do it. Of course if you haven't watched many of their titles you wouldn't know.
"Intro" is footage they felt like throwing together at random (2 mins). "Wavelength" is Wendy Hamilton's reused lite boy/girl beach scene from 'Wet & Wild 4' (4 mins). "Miss April 2000" is Brande Roderick posing in a winery. She looks incredible, but this scene came from her Playmate profile (3 mins). "Fun in the Sun" has Suzanne Stokes in and out of a bikini (2 mins). "After Hours" a 60's throwback style dance party taken from 'Wet & Wild 3' with more focus on atmosphere than female nudity (5.5 mins).
"Summer of Love" is from Summer Altice's Playmate profile with her at the beach, surfboards, bikinis, shower (5 mins). "Bethany Lorraine" is her boy/girl study scene from 'Naughty and Nice' (7.5 mins). A bunch of ladies (Ava Fabian, Gianna Amore, Monique Noel, Lynne Austin) lifted from the first 'Wet & Wild' (4 mins). A completely nude Leisa Sheridan nude at a pool from her profile (3.5 mins).
Next is Julie Cialini in an air conditioner repairman boy/girl (7.5 mins). Playmate Corinna Harney in a broken down car boy/girl fantasy (3.5 mins). To close things out a condensed video montage - lounging nude at the pool, looking at animals naked, twosome shower together - all taken from 'Playmate Pajama Party' (7 mins).
I'll see more of Brande Roderick to satisfy a craving because of this bad title, but otherwise 'California Girls' is pretty sad and my review reflects that. A mix of newer and older Playboy footage slapped together just doesn't cut it. They didn't even load up this compilation with hot busty blondes like the cover suggests.
