A while ago, the news broke that there was going to be a nail polish line based on “The Hunger Games,” but the deal fell through, resulting in a lawsuit. If you are one of the people disappointed that there won’t be an official nail polish line, don’t fret! The team behind the new parody book “The Hunger But Mainly Death Games” heard about the news, they took it upon themselves to create their own line of polish. “When we at hungergamesparody.com heard that Lionsgate was releasing a Hunger Games nail polish line, we were…confused?” wrote John Bailey Owen, the co-author of the parody. “Of course, we knew that the...

Kellan Lutz may sparkle in sunlight but he is covered in blood in this new trailer for Arena, which arrives on DVD on October 11. The film was directed by Jonah Loop and also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Nina Dobrev, and Daniel Dae Kim.
Lutz plays David Lord, a firefighter who’s forced into modern-day gladiatorial combat on an online interactive website called “Death Games” on which viewers can watch the fights and vote on which warriors they would like to see live or die.The film looks pretty intense and has a heavy dose of action and blood. I also like the premise of someone being forced to fight, even though it's been used before.

If you take "The Hunger Games," "The Running Man" and "Gamer" and mix it with what looks like the hammiest performance of Samuel L. Jackson's career, you might get something that looks like "Arena."
Kellan Lutz plays a firefighter who's forced into modern-day gladiatorial combat on an online forum called "Death Games," on which viewers at can watch the fights and vote on which warriors they would like to see live or die. Jackson runs the show in his loud suit, feasting on decadent banquets and breaking into random victory dances.
"Arena" still has no official release date, but we invite it to come out in November, which is now unofficially Kellan Lutz Month with the release of "Immortals" on Nov. 11 (in which he plays the self-described "god of wetness and moisture," Poseidon) and "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" on Nov. 18 (in which he plays Emmett...

With more than 130 titles under his acting belt, Samuel L. Jackson has been in more than his fair share of great movies (Pulp Fiction, A Time to Kill, Jurassic Park) but when you make five movies every year, there's bound to be a dud or two (Soul Men, Deep Blue Sea).
Which brings us to Arena, which stars Jackson, who runs "Death Games," a gladiator-style fight-to-the-death match (think Gamer blended with The Running Man), and Kellan Lutz, who becomes an unwilling contestant in the deathly battles.
Those who scoff at Jackson's decision to make such a Razzy-worthy movie, remember this is the same guy who agreed to do Snakes on a Plane.
Jackson obviously feels that if he hasn't gotten an Oscar at this point in his career it doesn't seem like he's going to so he might as well have some fun. Campy movie or not, no one can...

Samuel L. Jackson may be a fine actor with A-list credentials and capabilities, but he's also more than happy to lend (or sell) his presence to lower-budget projects that may or may not go straight to video. On that note, check him out as the ostentatious overlord of the "Death Games" in the trailer for the upcoming action flick Arena, which stars Twilight beefstick Kellan Lutz as a dude forced to enter combat against lethal foes and what appears to be some kind of shoddy CG...

So, if you’re wondering what on earth you’re going to do once you’ve seen “Eclipse” for the 17th time, you have these other films to look forward to!
