Warning: If you’re the sort of person to faint when you nick yourself shaving, you may be six degrees of squicked* out by Fox’s new serial killer thriller The Following.
It’s hella bloody. It’s scary. And there are a bunch of pointy things thrust into soft body parts – and not in the fun way. But the show is pretty great, so it’s worth it. Even the gouged-out eyeballs. (And there are a lot of gouged-out eyeballs.) Enough set-up: Let’s review the series’ pilot, and then we want to know what you think.

England ended up 127 for two after a damp and cagey first day of play, with Jonathan Trott unbeaten on 58
Morning everyone. How are you feeling this morning? Palms a little moist? Brow a touch fevered? Thoughts about the respective merits of Tim Bresnan and Stuart Broad inexplicably dominating your inner monologue? It's time, at last. The 2000th Test, the 100th between England and India, and the most eagerly anticipated match in
this country outside of an Ashes series since the West Indies were in their pomp a whippersnapper's lifetime ago.
This being the proper start of the summer it's probably worth checking the weather. A quick look outside the window from the top floor of Guardian Towers eastwards across the cityscape shows a solid gray morass of cloud, stretching from here to eternity St John's Wood. We might not start on time but the weathermen say that we'll get plenty of play,...

"Forget it, Bugsy. You'll never get your hands on Ojai Foods!"
When I heard Brothers & Sisters planned a two-part flashback where we would see Kevin, Kitty, and the rest of the Walker siblings as young teens, I immediately thought of that seventies film Bugsy Malone, which had Scott Baio as a singing, dancing mobster and Jody Foster as his flapper gun moll.
Weird, right? But that's the association I made. I guess I'd be more interested in watching child actors pretend to be the adult Walker siblings (possibly with singing and dancing!) than I am in a serious dramatic flashback to the Walker clan's Pasadena childhood.
Still, the casting for this thing has me curious, and E! Online's Watch with Kristin offered up some names on exactly who will be playing who in B&S: The Early Years. We've got the side by side pictures for you so you can...

Got a scoop request? An anonymous tip you're dying to share? Just want to say hi? You can send any/all of the above to ausielloscoop@ew.com Question: Can you do me a huge favor and give me some Gossip Girl scoop pertaining to Blair-Serena? I'm dying to know if my favorite frenemies will be loving or hating each other this season. —Sally Ausiello: They'll start out loving each other, but by November, the hate is on! What triggers the war? Let's just say Blair doesn't follow the bros before hos belief system (or, in this case, hos before bros). Question: Can you please tell me if there are any good Owen and Cristina scenes in Grey's Anatomy season premiere? I know they won't have sex in the episode, but will the tragedy bring them closer? —Iris Ausiello: They have a really moving handholding scene. Does that count? Question:...
