Really dark and disturbing content that made me a little uncomfortable with it's dramatic, yet artful portrayal of tragic and desperate characters.
It brought up many sad, ugly and difficult memories for many people in the audience. In some, very angry responses were unavoidable as the subject matter hit too close to home. Undretsandably, many would rather bury such incidents in their dark vaults of secrets if they couldn't forget them at will.
Society will always choose to gloss over such things but the victims or the perpetrators will always hold a very special or very cold place in their hearts for them.

As a professional interior designer, I loved the look of this film. It greatly added to the intense drama. Black and white with touches of BOLD red impact the story line that unfolds. My favorite - the cigarette ember. A good example of a small detail that creates a big visual . For a short film, with so much story to tell and all those lives crossing paths, I'm sure it was no small feat for the film makers. Overall, a very interesting project. I liked it.
