Patricia Hitchcock, associate producer Herbert Coleman, screenwriter John Michael Hayes and star John Forsythe are interviewed in this 30-minute featurette that takes a look at the making of THE TROUBLE WITH HARRY, Alfred Hitchcock's attempt at a comedy. Coleman and Hayes start off talking about how the project got off the ground and it's clear that Paramount wasn't too happy when the director brought them this story. They didn't feel it was "Hitchcock" enough but they went along with it because the director had done so well for them. From here we learn about how they selected Vermont to shoot the picture and what issues the weather had on the production. We also learn about how the cast was selected and star Forsythe tells a funny story about his first meeting with Hitchcock. Bernard Herrmann biographer Steven C. Smith is also on hand to talk about how Hitch met Herrmann and discusses the importance of the score. Fans and critics of the film should find this to be a fairly entertaining entry in this series, which started in 2000 as Universal was re-releasing their Hitchcock titles. For the most part the interviews are fun and informative and by the time it's over you really do get a good idea of what all went on with the production. It's too bad they couldn't get Shirley MacLaine to comment on the film but overall this is still a fun featurette.
