Probably the worst movie i've seen this year

This movie is AWFUL.

The lead role is of an infantile grown man, the kind you'd want to punch in the face if he'll cross your way. And the worst part is - he doesn't change. Well sure, he learns not to fear being a father, but who the hell cares? This is the most annoying character i've seen in movie history. There's no bright side to him, he's just super annoying. Like that kid you hate, but grown up.

The other actors are doing a mediocre job, except for Ted's dad, who's pretty good. The writing is just awful, one cliché after another, people are saying what they are feeling all the time ("I am so pleased!", "I am afraid", "I'm so excited") and the plot doesn't even exist.

This is what happens when you write a movie and cast yourself in the leading role without any experience or anything new to say. You get the worst film in years. I truly understand why the writer and leading actor is also the producer of this crap - nobody in their right mind will pay to make this horrible movie.

Do yourself a favor and watch paint dry. Please.

Very good movie!

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie! The concept of a prospective father worrying about his capability to fill the role adequately was simple but very real and believable. Todd Andrew Bryant fit the role very well and his antics had me laughing throughout the movie! Tim Conway was well cast and did his usual hilarious job! I liked the title and it's significance.....how the view from the swing changes with life's changing roles. The movie was well written .......there were some slow spots but the viewer was quickly brought back to the humor of a very fun plot! A movie to lift your spirits.......great job Todd Andrew Bryant and a fine cast!!

great to me!

So I know that some people didn't like this movie...but it was his first try. You can't blame him for trying. Also Todd is my second cousin and I kid you not, that's how he acts in real life. And he's probably the funniest man that I have ever met. And his character in the movie mirrors who he is in real life. So writing may not be his thing but everyone has to start somewhere. I personally think that it's not a bad movie. But I'm not that critical. I like all movies. There are good and bad parts to everything. And I actually just saw the bloopers the other day and they were so funny I couldn't stop laughing. It's unfortunate that there was miscommunication and they didn't get put onto the DVDs.
