What more is there to say with such a litany of luminous guest stars? Frankie Howerd, the titular (or titular ye not!) star, is utterly hilarious in each episode that is based on his recollections of all manner of instances and adventures from his illustrious past, and his constant asides to the audience (while the rest of the cast gamely always stay in character) are truly sublime and unceasingly funny. So, enjoy a marvel of 1970s television comedy, but if you don't find The Howerd Confessions amusing, then I say, "Oh, please yourselves."
