According to Devinn Lane the actress who portrays "Jools" was a real life escort not so different from her role, which caused "a lot of problems" on set, thus making Lane actually dislike her. Director and writer Tom Lazarus revealed he wrote some of the actress' personal life into her character, which "freaked her out". She then "threatened to walk off the show unless she had access to all future scripts well in advance of production".
The third season premiere episode is dedicated to actor Tylo Taylor who portrays Mason in the previous season, and passed away not so long after.
Adult film star Devinn Lane created the show and sold it to Playboy.
