The aerial fight scenes between Darna and Armida were accomplished by suspending the actresses on harnesses with piano wires in a studio. Rosa Del Rosario recalls that she and Elvira Reyes would often burst into laughter during shooting, as they would often be swung too far away from each other to make the fight look convincing.
