In an early scene, Anne Marie is brushing her teeth, looking in the mirror. Her eyes are natural: one hazel, one blue. During the surf competition, her eyes are both hazel. On the movie poster, her eyes are blue.

During the competition, Anne Marie removes the leash from her leg when is under the water so she can surface. Later, after the third wave hits, we can see her rolling under water with the yellow leash attached to her.

The last time the girls pull up beside Matt while chasing him down the highway, you can see a car ahead coming towards them in the distance, and yet they have time to have a conversation before it reaches them.

When Anne Marie goes to the hotel party in the black dress, she arrives without a handbag. However when she goes to the washroom to check the wave reports on her phone she has a black handbag.

When Anne Marie goes to lecture Leslie on the beach about the condom, the wastebasket she holds changes arms between shots.

When Anne Marie comes out of the water after surfing her last wave at the end of the film, her shirt is wet. Yet when she is hugging all of her friends, her shirt is dry.

When Anne Marie is at the local spot with the football player and they get in a fight with the local surfers, Ann-Marie yells at her old boyfriend, Drew (Chris Taloa) to stop. But she calls him Chris.

Obvious body double when Anne Marie is doing chin-ups.

At the beginning of the movie, Anne Marie calls into the surfer hot line where they state it's a Wednesday. On the bathroom mirror she marks that there are 7 days left before Pipe.

They teach the football players to surf 3 days later which should be a Friday but Anne Marie complains that Penny did not do her homework and makes Penny's lunch for the next day which should be a Saturday when she shouldn't have school.

2 days later, Anne Marie wakes up in the hotel and calls Eden to make sure Penny gets to school. This should be a Sunday when, again, she shouldn't have school.

When Anne Marie heads to the bathroom and calls up the surfing report on her phone, she sits on the toilet with her bare bottom indicating that she must be using it. However, no sounds of her peeing or pooping are heard along with no flush when she left the stall to confront the woman gossiping about her at the sink.

When Anne Marie and Eden were practicing with the jet ski and both were thrown off after a large wave, a crew member can be seen steadying the jet ski awaiting for their return.

During the surfing competition at the end of the movie, you can repeatedly see scuba divers when the waves raise. These are crew to assist the actresses as no one but the man on the watercraft with the stretcher comes to the aid of the two surfers who suffer injuries and have to be rescued.
