Manuel Lopez Ochoa,one of the main characters in this movie claim himself to be anachronistic,but not just him,all in the film seems to be anachronistic,starting with the rustic environment proper of the rancher movies in the forties,mixed with strange appearances of current topics in perfect harmony, even the mature widow lady(Amparo Rivelles) who prefers to stay single(and worker!!) instead of get married with a rich rancher man(widower too)just because she consider herself to be a "terciopelito"(little velvet)and the man a "medio pelo"(half hair),that is to say she had Social level and the poor man just had money,which is the base of this story, sounds outmode, but not for that boring!
