- TriviaIn one scene, a movie director named Robert Rodale treats Kam Heskin's character harshly. In the commentary track, Jenny McCarthy and her then-husband, director John Mallory Asher, said Rodale was intended to represent director Kevin Smith. McCarthy had auditioned for Mallrats, and felt he had treated her very rudely. Asher then sarcastically complimented Smith for 'Gigli' (mistaking it 'Jersey Girl,' both of which featured Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez.) Smith's story of the audition is on his podcast, 'Smodcast' episode #82.
- GoofsWhen the girls are at Carrie's audition, a sign on the door reads "QUITE PLEASE. AUDITION IN PROGRESS". The word "quiet" has been misspelled, either on purpose or otherwise.

this movie was horrible. Who the hell is Jenny McCarthy to mock Woody Allen, in a comedy no less? Lewd jokes, which, are not really jokes at all, and crass sight gags, do automatically make something funny. The Farrelly Brothers use this kind of comedy well because hidden within the toilet humor is some form of wit or intelligence. These jokes, which, are thrown at us relentlessly, are devoid of any true comedy, relying on shock-value and funny faces to makes us laugh(which they don't. The over-acting compounds this; the constant "funny" hysterical crying of McCarthy(she obviously thinks she's a comic genius, which, only further irritates the viewer,) the ghetto shtick of Carmen Electra (she was better than i expected) and the airhead-Hollywood-stereotype of the other best friend; all of it tires after five minutes. It is not that I think this type of comedy is always awful; it's just awful in the hands of a lazy writer like McCarthy. In all, a very unfunny, boring movie.
