It's a British film made with no input from the "National Lampoon" team at all.
It has nothing to do with the "National Lampoon" brand or creative team.
However, when it was released in America, the "National Lampoon" title was added and Vince Vaughn put on the cover (despite only having a small role in the film) to help with marketing.
