The audience found its good parts very amusing

A farce with burlesque characters for the most part. The audience found its good parts very amusing, but it is too long, the first half being rather inane. It has a real comedy situation as soon as it becomes known that the impecunious boarder, with an imaginary rich uncle (a first-class item), has taken up his abode in a farmhouse where his former city landlady is aunt. This part of the farce is worthy of the film it uses and is most entertaining. It was written by Herbert Prior, who plays the leading role, and was produced by C.J. Williams. Alice Washburn, William Wadsworth, Mabel Trunnelle and Mrs. Williams also have good roles and acquit themselves well. The photography is only so- so. - The Moving Picture World, April 12, 1913
