Devinn Lane is convincing as a no-nonsense police detective in this minor but entertaining Wicked Pictures release, featuring a superior screenplay by one of Adult Cinema's best writers, George Kaplan.
With lots of voice-over exposition, Devinn is investigating the disappearance of her dad, a private eye played by Randy Spears. Casting is a bit of a stretch, as Randy is only 10 years older than her in real life.
With many clues, the trail leads to a decade earlier disappearance of a porn star played by Zana, and Devinn's investigation leads her to Chatsworth and the porn industry, with an uncredited cameo by Brad Armstrong as a porn director, wearing a Wicked t-shirt, natch.
Kaplan's script leaves some key elements of the mystery unresolved, enough to set up a potential sequel and perhaps an ongoing series for Lane's character Claudia. I especially liked the intriguing non-ending, quite different (on purpose) from the neat tying up of such policier plots one gets on a regular basis from network TV crime dramas.
Cast emphasizes big boobs, not only Devinn's but also Zana, Krystal Summers, Star E. Knight, Renee LaRue and Shelbee Myne.
