Lara Dutta's and Priyanka Chopra Jonas's debut movie even though The Hero: Love Story of a Spy (2003)(which also starred Priyanka) released earlier.
Producer Sunil Darshan revealed in an interview that he had conceptualized the movie with Kapoor sisters, Karishma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in mind. But the tight budget didn't allowed him to cast the Kapoor sisters.
