Solid piece. Not pro-war. Just a stance that I believe reflects the general sentiment of most Americans, "Hurry home safely." Objective film-making that tells a story from a local perspective. The tonality of the film presents a case about the feelings of individuals and their involvement from an outside perspective looking inward. The people attached to it and what their positions are. No matter what we all are patriotic to the point that we support our troops and want them to come home safely no matter what. So the stances taken on this piece seem to be purely from a "love" standpoint. Not necessarily whether or not this war is the best thing for us or not.
