Stand-up comic Paula Poundstone gives a comedy concert at Harvard University in Cambridge.

I have not seen this in a long time, but as I remember it, it is the best Paula Poundstone performance that I have seen. All right, I haven&#39;t seen them all, but this is better than &quot;Cats, Cops, and Stuff,&quot; and that&#39;s saying something. It is less polished, but that&#39;s why it&#39;s better. Less polished means somewhat more spontaneous and, as anyone who has heard Paula on NPR&#39;s &quot;Wait, Wait, Don&#39;t Tell Me&quot; knows, spontaneous Paula is a good thing.<br/><br/>Naturally, she talks about college life, classes, and so on. (If memory serves) there is some of her usual material. There is a good deal of political humor, well chosen for a college crowd that one can expect to lean liberal. There is a bit in which she uses someone&#39;s cell phone to call the roommate of somebody in the audience; that, necessarily, relies on Paula&#39;s spontaneous wit, and is killer funny. Other comics have done this, but here is that first place I saw it done.<br/><br/>See this, but be ready for a sore belly from all the laughing.

Paula Poundstone Goes to Harvard

Saw this years ago and it remains one of the best stand-up routines I&#39;ve ever seen. Anyone who knows anything about her knows she is at her best interacting with the audience, and the interactions that happen here are priceless! Unfortunately, if you haven&#39;t seen it, you never will, because for reasons I can&#39;t imagine, this is unavailable for purchase anywhere (lawyers and/or agents are no doubt to blame; such idiocy is frustrating).
