Govinda was signed for the film. But the producer Dinesh Gandhi ended up having a affair with Govinda's mama Anand's wife Sangeeta. This caused Govinda to leave the film. Thats when Ajay Devgan was signed.
Zeba Bhaktiar was signed for the film but later opted out .
