I loved this film and it's gay theme - it is a dark journey and quite violent but this establishes so well the evil nature of the men surrounding Tom. Tom is a rent boy who has known nothing but abuse, easy prey for gangland sadist played so well by Mark McGann. But it is Daniel Newman as Tom who is a revelation - what a performance, where is he? Let's have him in more films please! He is also very hot and I'm sure there are many in the gay community who would agree with me. I bought this on impulse, had read no reviews and was not disappointed, it is gritty and realistic with loads of style.
The film is compelling and haunting - don't wait, buy it, you won't regret it. British drama at it's best!
