One of the foremost Christian apologists, CS Lewis is one of the great authors of literature of the 20th century.
This documentary featuring many scholars of Lewis as well as his stepson Douglas gives a good introductory biography of Lewis.
It tracks his life from his childhood in Ireland to his wartime service and then his conversion and subsequent writings. While it does tend to emphasize the Narnia series, it does not forget his other great works, although the space trilogy does get short shrift.
A good amount of time is spent on his relationship with Joy Gresham with Douglas providing a bit of insight. It is interesting to me that Douglas seems to feel that Lewis' writings were more important that the fact that Lewis wrote them.
Definitely worth viewing if you are interested in CS Lewis
