Shyam Ramsay's returned to direction after 10 years his last film was Mahakaal 1993 co directed by brother Tulsi Ramsay.
Amar Upadhyaya rose to fame with the serial Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2001 and he started getting many film offers this was his first film to release after he became an overnight star,his earlier films were Dhoote Reh Jaagoge 1998 and Dahshat 2000 where he went unnoticed.
