Storyline

- TriviaMany real aspects of Columbine shooters Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold were used in the film. Most obviously being that the entire film was shot exclusively as a video diary (excluding the massacre itself), as Harris and Dylan did film many videos (later known as "The Basement Tapes") documenting their plan. As of October 2014, "The Basement Tapes" still have not been made available to the public.
- GoofsIn the scene dated July 31, 2000, Cal is shown going to the orthodontist to have his bottom braces removed. However, in the first scene, dated June 23, 2000, you can clearly see that Cal's bottom teeth have no braces when he moves in to speak into the camera.
- Quotes
Calvin Gabriel: My trusty old Sunday school Bible.
[pointing to the cover]
Calvin Gabriel: And I got this nice little snake sticker for memorizing the books of the New Testament.
- Crazy creditsAfter realizing a friend appeared as a background character during the party scene, he and director Ben Coccio retroactively named his character "Zaxx Dragon IV".
- Alternate versionsThe UK DVD was cut by 3m 18secs to remove a detailed description of building explosive devices and avoiding capture.

Featured review
I agree with a lot of what is said in this movie about people blaming the media for molding them into who they are. Also, they took a rather taboo topic and did a very good job documenting what 'could' have happened.
I watch a lot of movies, many of them random movies that I end up wanting hours of my life back for, this was not a movie that I regret seeing and believe me, I don't use those words lightly.
