For the past 5 years, there hasn’t been any film that has actually witnessed a grand success both at box office and won critical acclaims as well. Indeed, the producers are so vexed as they’re giving up their film production. It looks like Media One Global Entertainment is also going through the same turmoil as their previous films have been terrific flops.
With both of their previous ‘Dhaam Dhoom’ and ‘Modhi Vilaiyaadu’ flunking terribly at box office, the producers are very much concerned about their next release ‘Chikku Bhukku’. The film is directed by Manikandan, once an associate of Late Director-Cinematographer Jeeva. Colonial Cousins – Leslie and Hariharan have scored music to the lyrics of Vaali and Pa. Vijay.
The film’s released is scheduled in July and the audio will be launched during first week itself. Since Aarya’s previous ‘Sarvam’ and ‘Naan Kadavul’ haven’t done good business at box office,...

When Ajith was asked that how all of a sudden how he got himself involved in the story and screenplay in Asal, he said,” It is not all of a sudden. When I see a good project, I get myself involved in other matters apart from acting and all those films have become a great success. For example I can say Kadhal Mannan, Amarkalam, Vaali and Billa. It is the same thing in this film also. But this time I ahd come into the title. This happened because of the magnanimity of Producers Ram Kumar, Prabhu and director Saran.
My prayer was that this film should be a great success for Shivaji Productions because of their good hearts. The next generation of Shivaji’ sir Ram Kumar’s son Dushyianth and Prabhu’s son Vikram have worked so hard in this production. Now I am happy that this hard labor has paid.

Of course, even a lioness would do it if our honorable chief minister M. Karunanidhi insists so. Well, it’s about his upcoming film ‘Pen Singam’ – a film based on the Kalainyar’s literary composition of ‘Surulimalai’.
The film is directed by Bali Srirangam and is produced by Arumuganeri S P Murugesan for Nandhini Creations.
‘The climax portion is said to be a substantive one as the revolutionary dialogues pertaining to women’s rights will score the best amongst audiences’ says director Bali Srirangam. The film has Udhay Kiran, Meera Jasmine, Karthika and Vivek in lead roles while music director Ilayaraja has scored music for the lyrical lines of Vairamuthu and Vaali.
