I love watching independent films as well as main streams. This is a great film. Although I saw it after 1999, it still gave a glimpse into the hype of y2k.It was written and directed by Seattle natives which is my home town. I saw the film by a invite only premiere. It was really impressive. It follows four different characters in four states on the eve of New years. There is some cultural hype, Hollywood hype, spiritual hype all steaming around what people believe will happen on New Years 2000. They show clips from news stories from Seattle where people actually thought about terrorist on New Year 2000. It was weird because the attacks happened a year later. Good film. Needs to be seen by all.
