Yam Laranas was the first director tapped for the movie. He was later replaced by Louie Ignacio, a popular TV, music video and stage director. It's Ignacio's film directorial debut.
A comeback pairing of Christopher De Leon and Regine Velasquez. were earlier paired in the box office hit Wanted: Perfect Mother (1996).
Regine Velasquez rushed in doing the movie due to her commitment to join singer-actor Martin Nievera in a US tour from March to April, 2003.
