    2002 Internet Dating and Erotica

This film has an array of buff young male characters who all act very well. They have great comedic timing and have that extra bit of charisma that separates them from just being simple jock meat. The dialogue and internet dating chat is exhilirating.

This film presents us with many layers of narrative: what the characters communicate verbally, their non verbal body language, their longing gazes, a voice over narrating what they think secretly, and of course what they confess about their desires in the online chat room. There are a few softcore erotic scenes, which present us with another language that the characters use to express their distinct sexual identities.

They just don't make uncomplicated films like this anymore. Great film.

Great movie for a short film

Some people didn't get the meaning of the movie. Sometimes love is right in front of your face. You just have to look. Grade A.

The actors worked together nicely and came across as genuine.

The only point I didn't get was the line "Didn't I tell you, I'm straight."

I only I could find love like that.

It's really good and you just have to watch it for yourself.

If anybody has any information on the actors, please post it on here.

It wasn't long and drawn out but it was short and to the point.

I would have gone to see it in theater.

    Soft-core, trying to be more

This movie is a truly interesting mess. It's little more than a soft-core gay film, but aspires and wants to be a romantic comedy. The acting is quite good for a film that looks like it was made on a shoestring college class budget, but any interesting thought the script has about modern gay romance is quickly buried by excessive nudity and simulated (or is it?) sex.

The script is cringe-worthy and taken from your average porno at times, and this is part of what makes it so muddled. A character actually happily yells "I AM YOUNG, DUMB AND FULL OF ***" at one point before jumping on top of his scene partner.

It could have been more, and seems like it really wants to be.

about as passionate as a sex-ed movie...

I have never been as confused about the purpose of a movie as I was when I had watched this one. On one hand, it wants to be a little soft-porn. On the other hand, it wants to be deep, romantic and have some kind of message.

The acting is surprisingly good and the scenes where the two male-leads just converse is very convincing as it doesn't seem very acted at all. Unfortunately, that's the only good thing I can say about this movie.

It's not the lame sex-scenes in the movie that bothers me, but the fat that it feels very Christian. If there's an organization for non-promiscuous sex behind this movie, I want to know, because it does feel very educating and the "moral" of the story i way too spelled out for its own good.

Because, honestly, this movie is nothing but empty rhetoric.

and if you manage not to gag during the "..but you know in your heart that I'm right", i applaud you. Because this movie crosses the line for bad movie as well as the one for so- bad-it's-good and in the end it's just...bad.

it gets two stars only for the delivery of "didn't i tell you? i'm straight!" which is brilliant.
