Remake of the Hollywood movie "Witness".
The song Main Pyar Ki Pujaran was sampled from UK bhangra band Alaap's song Main Pyar Da Pujare from the album Naach Mundiya.
Govinda's brother Kirti Kumar (who directed this film), has a small cameo as the policeman who throws Govinda in the jail and then kicks him.
After seeing the original Malayalam film, Poovinu Puthiya Poonthennal, Govinda liked it very much. He paid a lot of money to buy the rights to the film. He felt that it would prove him as an actor. But when he went to producers, they instead told him to sell the rights to them. They told Govinda that he himself looked like a child. So how could he convincingly portray a father to a child.
Kirti Kumar complained that Neelam harassed him during the making of the film. She would cancel shooting dates and make excuses. He stated it was her family behind her behavior. They were the ones making her play games because they did not want her working with Govinda any more . This was due to Govinda's films flopping.
