Most the film was shot in Juhu area Mumbai.
Concept of the film was similar to Bhavani Junction 1985.
For a scene Yunus Parvez calls out a name Rakeshnath stating his nephew DD is busy.Rakeshnath during those days was one of the busiest secretary of film stars who looked after the works of stars like Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit.
The intro of the song "Break Dance" (One By One) was sampled from the intro of Vangelis Blade Runner End Titles. 1:19 of the song was sampled from Chic song "Le Freak". The song of "Aafat" from Maut Ka Saaya was earlier sampled from the same song.
The Red Rose horror back ground music was used in some scene's with Sadashiv Amrapurkar in the movie Kahan Hain Kanoon.
