A well to do Melbourne doctor moves to the small town of Redfearn. The first episode was basically a stand alone play about the doctor working in a Sydney slum area.

I quite liked this production and have been searching for it.
A great ABC production and I believed it inspired GP.
Mason acted very well and a realistic setting in Redfern, Sydney.

I remember that in either the 1974 standalone pilot, or maybe in Lisa&#39;s story (Ep6) was about about a group of transwomen struggling with their identy, working as dancers, the cops etc.
