If some fans get their way with the show, The Price Is Right may have to change its lineup of games.
In recent weeks, some viewers have called one game “creepy” and previously suggested several games are “rigged.”
More recently, The Price Is Right viewers have indicated that one game is “hard” and contestants rarely win.
A recently shared Instagram clip featured host Drew Carey as he brought two contestants on stage to play the game Lucky Seven.
A mother and daughter appeared onstage during a special themed episode of The Price Is Right.
If the contestants could conquer the pricing game, they’d receive a new car as their prize. However, it would require some great guesswork or serious price estimating skills.

The Syndicate producer Rollem is developing short film Youthless into a TV series as one of its first projects since the passing of founder Kay Mellor.
The Yorkshire, UK-based indie has optioned rights to Jordon Scott Kennedy’s script and is working it up for television.
The series will precede events featured in the short and is being built as a returning drama series, though no broadcaster is attached yet. The short explores ‘adultification’ from the point of view of kids growing up on a forgotten council estate in rural West Yorkshire. Envisaged as a black and white trilogy following Jud Donlan’s life over three summer holidays before entering the adult world, Rollem claims “Never has childhood been represented so unflinchingly.”
The “brutally honest” show is based on Scott Kennedy’s own experiences growing up on the Dewsbury Moor Estate.

Exclusive: CBS is developing Repeat, a drama series executive produced by Masi Oka and Sabrina Wind, from ABC Studios.
Written and executive produced by David Zabel Repeat is based on the award-winning book of the same name by Kurumi Inui and the 2018 TV series, which aired on Yomiuri Television in Japan.
The project was originally set up by Oka and Wind at CBS last year with a different writer, David Hayter. It did not go to pilot but CBS remained high on the concept and put it in redevelopment. Zabel came on board to pen a new take on the underlying material.
In Repeat, after a group of strangers is mysteriously propelled back 10 months in time, giving them the chance to right wrongs, undo mistakes, and set their lives on a better path, these “repeaters” soon find that changing their fate is a tricky endeavor with unforeseen and even deadly consequences.

A champion of Southeast Asian independent cinema, the Singapore International Film Festival (Sgiff) announced three commissioned short films anchored on the theme of celebration, by Southeast Asian directors Yeo Siew Hua (Singapore), Mouly Surya (Indonesia) and Anucha Boonyawatana (Thailand) today. This is the first commission series for Southeast Asian filmmakers in the history of Sgiff, which furthers its support to growing the regional film scene.
Exploring the complexity of human connections, Yeo Siew Hua’s short film Incantation (2019) returned to his experimental roots where he explored the age-old rituals of ancient spells, spirits and the idea of resurrection during Hungry Ghost Festival. Mouly Surya’s Something Old, New, Borrowed and Blue (2019) uses wry humour to present a forward-looking take of gender roles in today’s society through the intimate interactions between a mother and a bride-to-be at a traditional wedding procession; while Anucha Boonyawatana’s Not A Time to Celebrate...

South East Asian filmmakers, Mouly Surya, Yeo Siew Hua and Anucha Boonyawatana have received commissions to direct short movies for the Singapore International Film Festival.
Although other film festivals in Asia including Tokyo and Jeonju have previously ventured into production, it is a first for the Sgiff. It gave the trio the topic ‘celebration’ to work with.
Yeo, director of 2018 Locarno Winner “A Land Imagined,” delivered “Incantation,” an exploration of the age-old rituals of ancient spells, spirits and the idea of resurrection during Hungry Ghost Festival. Indonesian musician turned filmmaker Surya (“Marlina the Murderer in Four Acts”), shot “Something Old, New, Borrowed and Blue,” a look at gender roles in today’s society told through the intimate interactions between a mother and a bride-to-be at a traditional wedding procession. Thailand’s Boonyawatana (“Malila: The Farewell Flower”) hatched “Not A Time to Celebrate,” a light-hearted and cheeky take on the rewards and harsh reality of filmmaking.

British broadcasters are going back to drama basics as they line up a swathe of lower budget scripted series to counter the multi-billion spend of the global SVODs.
Broadcasters including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 are preparing for a drama future where the likes of Netflix, which spends around $6.5M per episode of The Crown, for instance, and Amazon, which is expected to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on its adaptation of Lord of the Rings, are looking to take all global rights to projects.
Over the last few years, British networks have taken advantage of digital co-pro funds with shows such as C4 and Amazon’s Electric Dreams and BBC and Netflix’s Troy costing millions. But, these funds are soon expected to dry up, with the likes of Sister Pictures founder Jane Featherstone saying “the honeymoon is over”, leading domestic broadcasters to find new...

It is very difficult for showrunners to wrap production on a season without knowing if their series would get another season. Unfortunately, that is the nature of the network business, and about two dozen shows go though that every year. Here is a look at each network’s comedy and drama series in peril and their odds for survival. With all the drama carnage at ABC this season (Lucky 7, Betrayal, Killer Women, Mind Games, The Assets), the network is pretty lean on the hourlong side, and all shows currently on the air have a good shot at coming back. That includes two freshman series, fall drama Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., despite slipping in the ratings, and midseason entry Resurrection. Of returning dramas, there is no doubt about renewals for Shonda Rhimes’ Grey’s Anatomy, especially with stars Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey signed on, and Scandal, as well...

"Grey's Anatomy" has been renewed by ABC for a 10th season of hospital hookups, major medical drama and life-changing natural disasters.
Shonda Rhimes' hit medical drama -- which stars Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey, Sandra Oh, Chandra Wilson, Sara Ramirez, Jessica Capshaw, Justin Chambers, James Pickens Jr, Kevin McKidd, Jesse Williams and Sarah Drew, among many other newbies welcomed as interns each season -- has always been strong in the ratings, but Season 9 has seen a resurgence in viewers (averaging over 12.5 million viewers an episode), making it even more likely that "Grey's Anatomy" would be renewed.

And she followed it up with this:

Put briefly, the 42Nd Street Forever DVDs have become the best and most consistently entertaining series out there. I’ve never been disappointed by the trailers on view, and with Synapse Films teamed on the latest edition with Austin, TX’s now widely known Alamo Drafthouse and its owner Tim League and programmers Lars Nilsen and Zack Carlson, I knew I was in good hands.
If you’re unacquainted with the Drafthouse, it’s a kind of haven for cinephiles, specializing in running vintage prints and previews for films that make our collective geek heads explode. This makes its proprietors and the 42Nd Street Forever franchise a perfect combo, like Jack and Coke. There are 40 coming attractions included in this edition, with a few highly amusing PSAs thrown in for good measure. For instance, the opening bit features a tennis-playing Charlton Heston explaining film ratings, as if midgame he remembered...
