Goofs

While Cappy is reeling in line at 24:52, a fish is shown on his line, but then he stops reeling and puts down the pole as if waiting for a bite.

A daylight scene (32:00 to 32:34) establishes that Alex had stowed away on Molly's raft and knows how to work on gasoline motors and is followed by another daylight scene (32:35 to 32:42) establishing that Molly's father is driving to a job interview, but the next scene is shot day-for-night (32:43 to 34:28) establishing that the kids are starting to go down river on the raft with no explanation for the passage of time from day to night.

When Alex first meets the other kids he tells them that he can't swim, however later in the movie he is seen jumping off the roof of the boat into the river for a swim.
