This film delayed about 5 years to release. It started in 1981/2 after Love Story & Ek Duuje Ke Liye and was completed on time, but took some years to get released. The songs were released in 1983/84, for the first time, music composer Rajesh Roshan first time wrote songs for this film and the songs were very good.
Youssoupha song "J'ai Change" was sampled from the song "Waada Na Tod".
K.I.Z. song "Hurra die Welt geht unter" ft. Henning May sampled the song " Wada Na Tod".
Amrish Puri had shaved his hair, became bald, for this film and always remained bald. His one of the earlier film in which he played positive role in this film.
