"SONIC ADVANCE" (2001) was the first of 3 "Advance" games made for Nintendo's Gameboy Advance. It was the first game since "SONIC AND KNUCKLES" (1994) to capture the original feel of classic Sonic despite the sprites being from Sonic's green eye era.
The levels are similar to classic levels (Ice Cap Zone, Carnival Night Zone, Whacky Workbench etc) but fresh and the soundtrack, although inferior by Sonic standards, is good.
Despite Nintendo's new entry (developed by dimps) seeming promising Sonic was, post Advance 3, dragged into Nintendo hell for many years.
