In the beginning: the map which shows the dark and the bright side of the world includes village names which consist of the real names of most of the actors.
The movie theatre starting times were all plus seven minutes, i.e. the 18:00 show started at 18:07, the 20:30 show at 20:37 etc.
The whole movie was shot on a soundstage. The forest was rebuild to be weather independent.
