Famous Bollywood screenplay and dialogue writer K. K. Singh passed away on Sunday. The ace writer suffered a massive heart-attack and died while he was asleep at his Chembur residence in Mumbai. Singh started his career as an additional dialogue writer in Raj Kapoor's Prem Rog, and went on to script many super hit films, which include Sansar, Tridev, Tirangaa, Krantiveer, Jaanwar, Ek Rishtaa-The Bond of Love, Barsaat: A Sublime Love Story and many others. He was known for his commercial and punch-packed dialogues. In 1995, Singh also directed the Salman Khan starrer Veergati. K. K. Singh was only 58 years old and is survived by his wife and two sons. Bollywood Hungama sends out heartfelt condolences to Singh's family and friends.

Life couldn't have got more cruel than this for musician Aadesh Shrivastava. On one hand, he just fought his way out of cancer and on the other hand, he got a sudden shock when he got the news of his brother's death. His brother, Chitresh Srivastava, was working as the noted singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's manager since the last few years. Chitresh, met with a car accident and died on the spot, in Chicago where they were travelling for a concert. Reports have it that, his car was trailing Rahat's vehicle when the incident occurred. Unfortunately, Chitresh died on the spot while three others including Rahat's cousin were very badly injured. They are arranging to fly down Chitresh's body to India for the cremation.
