W.W.F.D.--What would Freud do?

This is one wacky and warped film! It starts with perhaps the most absurd notion I have ever seen in a short film and just runs with it--ignoring all the many, many impossibilities!

In an amazing scene, you see the camera move inside a pregnant woman and into her womb. There, quite unexpectedly, is a 27 year-old man!! It seems he likes it inside and doesn't want to come out so his over-indulgent mother isn't trying to hurry him!! Doctors are amazed, but what's even more amazing is that the 27 year-old has a cell phone(!) and the doctors begin carrying on a dialog with him--trying to encourage him to leave!

As I said, the idea is really, really weird! But it's so weird and handled so well that you can't help but watch and enjoy! The acting, music, writing and direction are great and it's a tremendous film. Watch it!

provocative

The basic start point is the chain of questions. Is it a parable ? Is it a satire about over - protective mothers and Peter Pan syndrom of the sons? A 27 years old baby expected to accept be born. It reminds me the beginning of the fairy tale by Petre Ispirescu Tinerete fara batranete si viata fara de moarte. But the age of the unborn child is covered by his...cell phone. And about the absence of. Cesarean section idea. But, sure, a provocative short film. Well crafted, interesting and absurd.
