Dogwoof launching 'EMR' in three mediums
LONDON -- Dogwoof Digital, an offshoot of new U.K. independent film distributor Dogwoof Pictures, said Monday it will be the first company in the U.K. to go for a simultaneous cinema, Internet and DVD release when it bows thriller EMR on July 15. EMR, which is described as a thriller concerning organ theft, aliens and big business, won the jury prize at Raindance 2004 for best U.K. feature. It will open in selected cinemas across the U.K. and be available both online -- downloadable exclusively through Tiscali for £2.50 -- and on DVD, from specialist chain SilverScreen and a range of online retailers.
