The film was previously titled "Aur Kitne Pakistan". Fearing controversy, Saawan changed the title.
After about 7 years Sawaan Kumar and Usha Khanna came toghether, and till now this is their last film toghether, the last film they came toghether was in Sanam Harjae Sawaan Kumar and Amrish Puri worked toghether for the first and last time. Amrish Puri got a good role and this film was one of his last major fil, also Prem Chopra, Raza Murad, Ashutosh, Yunus Parved all got good and major role in this film.
The film did not have a theatrical release in British Columbia, Canada.
